I have been drawing all my life, for as long as I can remember. During my childhood however, all my drawings were in black and white and I was using a speed ball pen. Everything changed around 20 years ago when I found inside my bag a very basic children’s watercolor set. A friend of mine put it in my bag when I wasn’t looking because, he told me later, he believed I would love it. I tried the watercolors straight away and have been using them since then. He was right, it was love at first sight.
I am inspired by anything that makes me think, makes me feel light, good and happy.
It can be a word I have heard or read, a sound, a smell, the beauty of nature, a unique smile, colors…
I mainly work with watercolors and ink pens.
Sometimes i add a touch of gouache, acrylic inks and watercolor pencils.
